There was so much that happened in sports last night, but perhaps the best sight of all was seeing TNT’s Craig Sager return to the sidelines once again. Sager has been battling leukemia for well over a year now. After returning to the sidelines in March, Sager’s leukemia returned shortly thereafter.
But Sager’s courageous fight has continued as he’s proven to be an inspiration to so many. He was back on the sidelines once again for Opening Night in Oakland at the Pelicans-Warriors season opener.
It was great seeing Sager back last night, the only regret was that he couldn’t be joined by Gregg Popovich… but I’m sure we’ll be seeing that reunion sooner rather than later.
