All of us were ecstatic when Bill Raftery finally got the call from CBS to announce the Final Four on television. After decades of being one of the most popular and well-liked announcers in all of sports, Raft will get the chance to call the most important games in the sport for the first time on television. (He’s worked the Final Four for years on radio.)
And with that promotion at CBS comes some extra perks. Like a guest appearance during the Showcase Showdown on The Price is Right. Yea, winning a new car on a nationally televised game show is pretty cool. But winning it from Bill Raftery? Priceless.
