The newest “it” couple in sports media, Tara Lipinski and Johnny Weir are heading to the Super Bowl. They’ll be feature reporters for NBC’s Super Bowl pregame coverage which will begin on Sunday, February 1 (we could be snarky and say it’s already begun, but we won’t) at 1 p.m. ET.

A week after commenting on the U.S. Figure Skating Championships in Greeensboro, NC, Tara and Johnny will head to the official Super Bowl Tailgate Party where they’ll issue their takes on the fashion, interview celebrities and be Tara and Johnny.

Since becoming the hit of NBC’s figure skating coverage at the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics, Lipinski and Weir have been hired full-time by the network to be the top analysts of their sport replacing Scott Hamilton and Sandra Bezic, worked the red carpet at last year’s Academy Awards and fashion correspondents at the Kentucky Derby.

One can only expect some very interesting perspective from Johnny on the fashion at the Super Bowl. And Tara and Johnny will provide some interesting fashion of their own if their Twitter account is any indication.

As usual, we’ll be watching.
