It seems like 95% of Twitter is snarky and negative by nature. Everyone has to get their kicks in (myself included) when someone is in the spotlight. But when the person in the spotlight fires back, things can suddenly get awkward.
On Tuesday morning, the Houston Chronicle’s Steph Stradley tweeted out a highlight video of Ravens WR Steve Smith Sr. from back in his prime with the Panthers.

This led to a Browns blogger, presumably confused about what an actual wide receiver looks like, bringing up some of Smith’s previous poor history with teammates (as if he wouldn’t have wanted Smith to sign with the team after the Panthers cut him in a heartbeat).

Long story short – Browns blogger thinks player on a rival team is a “punk” because of past instances, ignores the fact that most NFL players have had plenty of issues in the past.
But hey, it’s Twitter. Anyone expecting some sort of thorough discourse is hanging out in the wrong place.
