3. Give Rebecca Lowe more work during the week/off-season

Speaking of the Olympic push and underutilized talent, it would greatly behoove NBC to give Rebecca Lowe more to do over the calendar next year.

I’m not trying to give Lowe any more work than she has, as working a full slate of Premier League matches every Saturday and Sunday from August through May can surely be daunting, but Lowe has proven her mettle as a host for some time now, and her non soccer work with NBC during the Winter Games showed she can sneak out of the comfort zone of weekends with The Robbies, Kyle and the occasional fellas in sport coats and be an asset for NBC outside of EPL match days.

NBC could give Lowe an hour or two co-hosting on NBC Sports Radio each weekday, because lord knows that daily lineup could use some freshening up. Hell, give her one day each week as a “Danette,” so to speak, working alongside Dan Patrick on his radio and TV show.

Make her face #16 on Sunday Night Football, or I don’t know, let her host one of the 50 gearhead shows on NBCSN during the week.

Get creative, because if her work so far with NBC has shown anything, it’s that she’ll be able to handle whatever you give her.
