Whether you like Joe Buck or not, just the mention of his name is polarizing. A Kansas City Royals fan, Adam Jones began a petition on Change.org seeking Fox to make a change in the announcers for the American League Championship Series. While the petition has almost 12,000 signatures as of this writing, the request has fallen on deaf ears as he’s already called the first two games of the ALCS.

However, that didn’t stop the petition’s momentum nor Buck from acknowledging the tweet promoting it. The fact that Buck retweeted the link may have added a few signatures, but at the same time, he continues to have a sense of humor regarding his detractors.

It seems Buck is taking all the hits in stride and a petition won’t stop him from broadcasting games at least for now.
