We truly treasure the moment when Boston Bruins voice Jack Edwards goes over the deep end. Whether it’s a head-scratching post-series commentary about Montreal and the Boston Tea Party, giving history lessons, cackling like a vampire or just plain going nuts after a B’s goal, Edwards is the gift that keeps on giving.

During the St. Louis Blues-Bruins game on Tuesday night, Edwards was in the midst of the call of an exciting matchup when Ryan Reaves and Tyler Randell got into a fight in the 3rd period. It was at that moment when Jack decided to sing a traditional Christmas carol to serenade the NESN viewers. It had to be seen to be truly believed. Luckily, we have video:

Jack finishing it off with “I LOVE THE HOLIDAYS!” was probably the best way to end the fight although a “WHO HAS MORE FUN THAN US?” would have worked as well. We await the next time Edwards takes the airwaves and that will be after the Christmas break on Saturday. Perhaps we’ll get an “Auld Lang Syne” before New Year’s.
