Fox Sports NFL analyst Donovan McNabb was recently arrested for a second time for a DUI offense in Arizona.  McNabb’s first DUI arrest came in December 2013.  Fox Sports chose not to discipline him at the time and the former Pro Bowl QB had to spend a day in jail.

McNabb’s second DUI arrest reportedly came on June 28th.  According to Pro Football Talk, McNabb could be looking at a mandatory 90 day jail sentence for his second arrest.

The Fox Sports analyst released a statement.  It classifies as a statement in that it contains words from the English language, but it manages to say nothing:

“There was a story that was released, and I want everybody to be cognizant of it, because I am very aware of it, handling the matter at this particular point,” McNabb said. “But at this point, I have no further information, and as we continue on with the situation, then we’ll let it handle as it will handle itself.”

McNabb’s had a growing role at Fox Sports and all over the sports media (he also works as radio host for NBC Sports Radio) but a second DUI arrest and extended jail time might put that in jeopardy.  Two DUI arrests in less than two years is a troubling trend for the former quarterback.
