The morning after Super Bowl XLIX, Colin Cowherd stepped up on his soapbox to bring his long-simmering feud with Dan Patrick to a boil. Cowherd’s comments about Patrick were a tangent on touting the virtues of the work ethic of Jim Rome and Skip Bayless. Here’s a transcript in which he calls out Patrick for needing “five producers to fill a segment.”

A couple of those producers then fired back at Cowherd and his comments.
lol @ESPN_Colin. Dude's acting like he doesn't have a board op, a producer in the chair, another booking the show, and an entire web team.

@richarddeitsch So when Dan hosts the Super Bowl, leaves field, runs to plane, red-eyes to NYC to host morning show…that's lazy.

@richarddeitsch Working hard and working well are two different things.

Patrick and Cowherd last traded barbs a couple years ago when (ironically enough) DP called Cowherd out on his laziness after separate interviews with Kurt Warner. Might there be more to come in the coming days in this feud between two of the heavyweights in sports talk radio?
