It’s one of a reporter’s worst fears, passing out live on the air. It happens from time to time and it did precisely to CNN anchor Poppy Harlow on Monday. She was anchoring a segment about terrorism on CNN Newsroom while substituting for Carol Costello.

After correspondent Becky Anderson finished her report on a poll on the White House’s handling of radical Islamists, Harlow began to explain the graphic, then she slurred her words and stopped speaking. That’s when CNN cut to commercial.

A longer video can be seen at Mediaite. Harlow returned on-camera later to explain what happened:

“For all of you on Twitter asking if i’m okay, thank you so much. I got a little hot and I passed out for a moment. I am fine, we’re going to take a quick break. We’ll be right back.”

And she also tweeted this:

Good to know it wasn’t serious, although the segment was certainly scary for anyone who saw it live. Harlow is six months pregnant
