The Toronto Maple Leafs introduced Mike Babcock as their new head coach Thursday, and Canada’s version of ESPN temporarily lost the live feed moments before the news conference began.

Toronto Star columnist and TSN contributor Bruce Arthur was talking about Babcock’s competitiveness when this happened:

The broadcast quickly cut to TSN’s insider panel of James Duthie, Darren Dreger, Bob McKenzie and Aaron Ward, who scrambled to pick up where Arthur left off.

Bruce’s takes were clearly too hot for TV.
