If you were losing sleep over where ousted Michigan football coach Brady Hoke was landing, the wait is over. Hoke will be hosting a bi-weekly radio show on SiriusXM, SiriusXM College Sports Today. Hoke will host alongside Mark Packer starting on August 18th. The show will air from 4-7pm ET.
Via a press release, Hoke expressed his excitement for the new gig.
Former Michigan head football coach Brady Hoke has joined the roster of hosts on SiriusXM College Sports Nation, SiriusXM’s 24/7 college sports channel.
Hoke will host SiriusXM College Sports Today twice a week (4:00-7:00 pm ET) throughout the college football season alongside Mark Packer. He will make his debut on the channel this Tuesday, August 18.
SiriusXM College Sports Nation is available nationwide on channel 84 on satellite radios, on the SiriusXM app and online at SiriusXM.com.
“SiriusXM College Sports Nation is an outstanding place for those of us who have been involved in the game to connect with fans and talk about everything happening in the world of college football,” said Hoke. “I’m excited to join the SiriusXM team and begin working with Mark Packer.”
It’s interesting that after coming off a high-profile job at Michigan that Hoke didn’t land with one of the big TV networks, and is instead hosting a show on satellite radio. Maybe it’s a kind of fitting end to his disastrous tenure at Michigan. On the bright side, hopefully his new gig at Sirius goes better than his tenure with the Wolverines did.
