MLB legend Tony Gwynn sadly passed away yesterday at the age of 54 after a battle with cancer.  Gwynn was beloved not just for his incredible ability at the plate, but also for his affable personality.  Every good thing written about Tony Gwynn was deserved and then some.

Yesterday there were several tributes to Gwynn from all around the media.  Larry Brown has a great collection of them.  Two of them that stood out were Dodgers announcer Vin Scully and ESPN’s Keith Olbermann…
