This is further proof that the NHL hasn’t reached the casual fan. The question is , “100+ assists in an NHL season has been accomplished only 13 times, 11 times by this player.”
Clearly, the answer is Wayne Gretzky. But “Joe” didn’t see it like that.
Joe’s face was priceless after he realizes the mistake. Alex Trebek sounded shocked. Joe had the last laugh, though. He ended up winning close to $25,000 for the day despite the flub.
