Here’s an amusing clip from last night’s Nationals-Marlins game.  Washington won 9-2 and Nats radio announcer Charlie Slowes seems to be caught off guard for the final out and calls it as a normal pitch until he realizes the game is actually over.  Either that, or he’s bored out of his mind for an April game against the Marlins, and who could blame him for that!

So that’s what the polar opposite of brain-exploding buzzer beating Gus Johnson as an announcer sounds like.  Now we know.
