Dayton head coach Archie Miller is leading one of the great Cinderella stories of the 2014 NCAA Tournament – the Dayton Flyers. After beating Ohio State and Syracuse, Miller has Dayton in the Sweet 16. His brother Sean will look to join him there as coach of the Arizona Wildcats if the top seed in the west can get past Gonzaga later today.
You can forgive CBS studio host Greg Gumbel for mixing up the two brothers because they have plenty of similarities, but the technical difficulties at the end make this sequence all the more awkward.
My guess is CBS cut the interview off before Archie could call Greg Gumbel “Bryant.”
