During halftime of the Texas-Arizona State second round NCAA Tournament game on Thursday, CBS’ Greg Gumbel went to a tweet that he thought came from Saint Louis forward Rob Loe. It would seem logical that Loe would tweet after the Billikens’ emotional overtime win over North Carolina State, but he did not.

The tweet actually came from actor Rob Lowe. The actor who has a “w” in his last name unlike Loe, was watching Saint Louis-NC State and tweeted out a play on words of his last name.

Gumbel just read the tweet and continued on. He may have realized that it was the actor and not the Billiken, but there were other matters to deal with like throwing to another ad featuring Charles Barkley.
