These days, former Baltimore Ravens and Indianapolis Colts defensive lineman Tony Siragusa is known more for being comic relief as part of DIY Network’s “Man Caves” as well as being the foil for the Kenny Albert and Daryl Johnston NFL on Fox announcing team a.k.a. “Kenny, Moose and  Goose.”

Sometimes, Goose shows us that he wasn’t a bad athlete on the football field. Before Sunday’s Philadelphia Eagles-New York Football Giants game at the New Meadowlands, Siragusa showed off his kicking skills by attempting a 25 yard field goal. Siragusa went old school with a straight-on left-footed kick instead of the “soccer-style” that is prevalent in the NFL today.

Wouldn’t you know, Goose made it!

Siragusa was quite proud and he certainly had reason to crow about his kick. Now if he could only show us that he can use a mitre saw, the Awful Announcing staff would be really impressed.
