I guess the rule in the NFL is that whoever has the most bling can talk the most crap. Because Terry Bradshaw has something he would like you to know. And that something is that Peyton Manning is NOT all that, you guys. Bradshaw, on one of his stops for his “America’s Favorite Dumb Blonde” tour said that Peyton is your guy, as long as you don’t mind losing Super Bowls. Ouch!
Yes, Bradshaw’s four Super Bowl rings are impressive, but he was on a Steelers team that was loaded on defense. Manning has had to carry his teams a lot, but his talent should not be questioned just because he ONLY has one SB ring to his credit. I mean, we could argue these points until we’re blue in the face, it still comes down to the rings holding more cred than anything else. HOWEVER. I have a sneaking suspicion that if, say, the Bears were to win a Super Bowl while Jay Cutler was under center, most people would still say he sucks and the reason that they won was because of Brian Urlacher. Who is now retired.
