MLB Network will once again have a dominant presence at the Winter Meetings, beginning this Sunday in San Diego. The network will air 45 hours of live coverage over five days during the Meetings, including on-site editions of Hot Stove, Intentional Talk, MLB Now, and MLB Tonight.
The coverage begins with MLB Tonight at 8 PM on Sunday. On Monday at 11 AM, the first of four straight editions of Hot Stove will air, hosted by Matt Vasgersian, Harold Reynolds, and Ron Darling. High Heat with Christopher Russo will follow that up for an hour each day, and on Monday, MLB Network will broadcast the results of the Hall of Fame Golden Era committee (formerly known as the Veteran’s Committee) at 2 PM, before transitioning back into the first of three daily editions of MLB Tonight. MLB Now and Intentional Talk will air at 4 PM and 5 PM respectively before another edition of MLB Tonight at 6 PM. Then we’ll get *another* edition of MLB Now, and one more run of MLB Tonight.
So, to sum it all up, here’s what the schedule will look like, with minor variations throughout the week.
11 AM: Hot Stove
1 PM: High Heat
2 PM: MLB Tonight
4 PM: MLB Now
5 PM: Intentional Talk
6 PM: MLB Tonight
8 PM: MLB Now
9 PM: MLB Tonight
That sure is a lot of content. Hopefully it’s a busy Winter Meetings for the network, because it sure would suck if the biggest free agents were inked in the next couple of days.
