Seattle Seahawks RB Marshawn Lynch doesn’t really like talking to the media, for whatever reason. Maybe it’s just easier to let Richard Sherman do all the talking. Who knows. In any case, Lynch is, in a way, breaking his silence, so to speak, and starring in a movie about himself.

To make this Hollywood transition even easier, the movie, titled Family First, is actually the story of Lynch’s life.

The film will chronicle Lynch’s journey from a young football player in Oakland to the NFL, where he has become one of the top running backs in the game.

Lynch is excited about getting to work on the project and shed some light on his upbringing.

“For me, it’s just about having some fun,” Lynch said. “It’s just a fun experience. I also get to shine light on the community and some of the things that we grew up doing and what we went through.”

This sounds more like a documentary than an actual movie. It will be interesting to see Lynch’s acting skills. Sometimes when NFLers play themselves, the result is not awesome. (Dan Marino and Brett Favre, I’m looking at you.)
