The Philadelphia Eagles controversially released star WR DeSean Jackson last week.  Even though Jackson has been one of the most successful receivers in the NFL in recent years and in the prime of his career, the Eagles cut him.  Shortly before his release, an article appeared at NJ.com questioning Jackson’s character and wondering about potential gang ties.  I’m sure it was a total coincidence for that article to drop right before Jackson was released and totally not orchestrated in any way.

Those questions about Jackson’s character have been under heavy scrutiny ever since as a number of teams are queuing up to sign him.

Deep within their own subconscious, Philadelphia Fox affiliate WTXF addressed the Jackson controversy with this incredible newsreel blunder.  The station teased a crime story while accidentally (we think?) showing highlights of Jackson with the Eagles.

ARE YOUR CAR DOORS LOCKED, PROSPECTIVE NFL CITY THAT MAY EMPLOY DESEAN JACKSON?  It’s tough to feel safe these days what with these predatory millionaire athletes all around.
