Legitimately funny parody accounts on Twitter are like finding the proverbial needle in the haystack. For every good parody account there are several impostors with way-too-long handles that have 1,000 tweets and 7 followers. Then there are the parody accounts that gain some modicum of success and get commercialized, thus losing their identities. Then there are the highly suspicious ones with hundreds of thousands of followers that appear out of nowhere and aren't even funny whatsoever.
The parody account that actually maintains its mission statement with some level of humor is rare.
One of those excellent parodies is @FauxPelini. I mean come on, you can't have a soul and not love that cat. The Bo Pelini parody has been around for a while, but before the national championship game the real Bo Pelini finally made contact with his popular impostor in the most hysterical of ways…

Who knew the real Bo Pelini had a sense of humor? Perhaps he's not such a psychotic jerk after all! And to think all it takes is a parody Twitter account and a cute cat in a Santa Claus hat to see his more human side.
