Nothing like the dog days of summer to give you some of the more absurd headlines that classify as "news" in the sports world. Like how Rex Ryan spent his summer vacation.

In actuality, it should have read "Rex Ryan slowly climbs over a wooden fence while on summer vacation in Spain." But that doesn't sound quite as exciting. I love that ESPN feels the need to clarify that Rex was not injured during the experience. Barring being gored in the leg, I have to imagine any other injury wouldn't really impact his day job.
I can't wait for the ESPN ScoreCenter update on Tom Brady and Gisele surviving airport security or Tim Tebow having trouble getting the lid off his ketchup bottle.
The NFL season can't get here fast enough.
