85 year old oil tycoon T. Boone Pickens is the most important booster at his alma mater, Oklahoma State University. In the mid-2000s he donated a record $165 million dollars to Oklahoma State athletics, bringing their facilities in competition with the best in the nation. His name now adorns the Boone Pickens Stadium at Oklahoma State as well.
Needless to say, even though he was never linked with any improprieties personally, T. Boone Pickens was not a fan of the Sports Illustrated investigation into his Oklahoma State program. (And it might as well be his program, he's paying for it.)

Well if that isn't the kind of colloquial perspective you expect to see from an 85 year old oil tycoon. Pickens released a much more formal statement last week with refined and dignified language, but I much prefer the monkey up the tree imagery. That's next level media criticism right there.
