Remember Susannah Collins?  The CSN Chicago Blackhawks reporter was fired from her job earlier this year after a viral Freudian slip led to the revelation of a series of bawdy, NSFW YouTube sports comedy videos.  The Blackhawks reportedly then forced Collins out after becoming uncomfortable with her Sports Nutz past.

We haven't heard much of anything at all from Collins since she was let go by CSN Chicago, but this weekend represents the start of a comeback to the sports world.  Collins will serve as a sideline reporter for CBS Sports Network for their broadcast of Louisiana Tech v UTEP Saturday night.  The news was first uncovered by the Classic Sports TV Twitter account in the La Tech game notes.  Furthermore, Ed Sherman reports it's a freelance assignment, but CBSSN may bring back Collins for future opportunities as they come.

Collins obviously has the talent to earn a gig with CBSSN.  Before she worked for CSN Chicago, she served at CBS New York, NFL Network, and Showtime.  After the complicated way things ended at CSN, it's good to see her earn another chance now that her work from years ago is no longer an issue.
