During halftime of Michigan's eventual loss to Wisconsin in the B1G Quarterfinals, ESPN got confused and reassigned both teams to the now-defunct Big East As We Know It. As ugly a first half as it was, both teams are lucky they were at least kept in Division 1.
Well, it's official. Conference realignment has gotten so convoluted, even ESPN can't make sense of it anymore. It had to happen eventually, I suppose. Although we all know Michigan and Wisconsin would be a better fit in the America 12.
