In the midst of televising 897 games from the Little League World Series, ESPN wants you to get to know the kids and make a personal investment in them. Some times they'll show you a little slugger's favorite band. Take Japan's Nagiru Hiramatsu, whose favorite singer is "Wandai Wrection."
Eep.
Since a Google search for "Wandai Wrection" pulled up nothing but sports blog posts in the last hour, I'm guessing that's supposed to be "One Direction" and something got horribly lost in translation. Horribly, horribly lost in translation.
Let this be another strike against televising the Little League World Series.
