We've had our fair share of snafus involving the Los Angeles Kings. including them trading for Steve Nash, a local TV anchor spanking the Devils mascot on-air, an infographic released by the team to explain themselves to the local media, and even the local media confusing them for the Sacramento Kings.
Now that hockey is back and the reigning Stanley Cup champions are back in everyone's collective consciousness, it's time for more ridiculousness involving the Kings. NESN reported on their bottom line that the Kings owners had agreed to sell the team to a group from Seattle, which is technically true. However, it's actually the Sacramento Kings that have been sold and will likely be moving as opposed to the Los Angeles Kings, which is what NESN reported. The poor LA Kings just can't get any breaks, even as Stanley Cup champions… hey, at least people are still noticing them though, right?
