CBS Sports Network is growing thanks to a new deal which will distribute the network to more Time Warner Cable subscribers than ever before. The deal added CBS Sports Network to Time Warner Cable's Digital TV package, boosting the channel's audience to just over 53 million homes. The channel is now available to a reported 99 million households.

Take note, competing sports networks: CBS Sports Network is slowly on the rise. Over the last 12 months, the network has grown by 18%. With the network offering programming surrounding major sporting events (Super Bowl, The Masters, U.S. Open Tennis and PGA Championship) as well as live sporting events and studio shows, CBS Sports Network is primed to continue growing its audience in the months and years to come.

Will CBS Sports Network continue to grow? It's been very quiet and still resides a long way behind NBCSN, FS1, and ESPN in terms of viewership and distribution. Nevertheless, even these small signs of growth have to be somewhat encouraging for the forgotten 24/7 cable sports network.
