When I first heard that ESPN announcers were debating Tim Tebow starting for the New York Jets during yesterday's Butler-Xavier game, I was ready to man my battle stations and prepare for full fledged attack mode.  But, ESPN's Bob Wischusen and Dan Dakich are actually poking fun at their own network's TebowMania obsession in the latter stages of a blowout game.  Wischusen actually doubles as the Jets radio play by play man, so you know he's been through the wars with TebowMania this season.  Give credit to the pair for being willing to make light of the situation and mock the cold reality that ESPN is contractually obligated to mention Tim Tebow every 15 minutes of air time (and their past Brett Favre obsession).

I liked both Wischusen and Dakich before this clip, and now they've both climbed the ladder in my estimation.  Hopefully they aren't punished and banished to covering the MAAC for the rest of the season.  WIth this coming on the heels of Ed Werder taking shots at Rick Reilly, maybe the revolution has fully begun.
