Ever since he retired, Shaquille O’Neal has not backed down from weird and wild things.  His media career at TNT’s Inside the NBA has been rather hit or miss.  Sometimes Shaq is at his brilliant and funny best… and other times you’re not really sure what Shaq is saying or doing.  This story may fall into the latter category.

You see, Shaq evidently has a bit of history with internet nutcase and disgraced Mexican League player Jose Canseco.  After being called out by Canseco on his fabulously zany Twitter account, Shaq wants to accept a challenge from Canseco to a fight after the fo on his Twitter account.  O’Neal had this to say according to the Chicago Tribune

“I challenged him a long time ago. If he wants it done, he knows where to find me,” O’Neal, who was listed at 7-foot-1 (2.16 m) and 325 pounds (147 kilograms) in his playing career, told Reuters on Tuesday in a telephone interview from Florida to promote Dove Men + Care skin product.

“He can be high off whatever, and I’ll be high off Frosted Flakes,” O’Neal, 40, said about the popular breakfast cereal.

Frosted Flakes.  The breakfast of champions.  Shaq was rumored to wrestle The Big Show at Wrestlemania this year, but those reports never materialized.  A fight with Canseco would be slightly more absurd.  Never one to back down from an opportunity for publicitiy, an opportunity to show his mental imbalance, or a fight… Canseco has continued politicking for the matchup via Twitter.  He also bizarrely said his girlfriend should fight Shaq after beating up Canseco.  I didn’t know he was dating Tawny Kitean

An actual fight between Shaq and Canseco would be an interesting matchup.  Canseco would clearly have the performance enhancing drugs advantage, but Shaq towers with his height and reach and is seven years younger than Canseco.  But, judging by both Shaq and Canseco’s previous fighting experience, maybe this would be worth watching for comedic purposes, and to see them attempt to knock the crap out of each other.  Hug for u.
