Credit the NHL Network for upping their game in the playoffs. What was on the surface a solid game for Brad Richards of the New York Rangers was revealed to be a heroic performance in the face of some digestive issues. Despite not tallying a point in the win, Richards logged an impressive amount of ice-time despite racking up a similar amount of porcelain time as well.

A teammate of Richards even told us (not really) “That was the definition of courage. Skating while clinching your cheeks substantially undermines your ability out there.”

Nearly 21 minutes on the ice, no goals or assists, but more importantly no sharts.

H/T To Michael for the heads up.
