Mike Tyson’s acclaimed one man show, “Mike Tyson: Undisputed Truth” will be headed to Broadway. The show will be performed for six nights from July 31st to August 5th at the Longacre Theater, and Spike Lee will be teaming up with Tyson to bring the show to the bright lights of New York City. It will be the first time that both men will be featured on Broadway.

Tyson’s show is described as a “raw confessional” and “filthy” and will detail his life both inside and outside of the ring. Tyson has had a very eventful career, which includes a marriage to Robin Givens, a rape conviction and jail time, and biting the ear off of Evander Holyfield among other incidents.

If you’re in the New York area, this is definitely something that you should make an effort to see. Tyson’s life has been very interesting and loaded with controversy, and to hear him talk about it in his own words would be truly an event. Tickets range in price from $75 to $199, and VIP tickets run for $300. Considering what a night at Yankee Stadium would cost you, this seems like a much more unique and worthy use of your money. At least it’s got to be better than Charlie Sheen’s Violent Torpedo of Truth Tour.
