I got about ten emails, right before the end of the half during the AFC Championship Game, stating that Jim Nantz had a bit of an issue when trying to do a promo for 60 Minutes. The emailers asked if I had heard Nantz pronounce the country in which the recent devastating earthquake took place as Haitia (Hay-Shu), instead of Haiti (Hay-Tee). Well yes folks, he sure did, and here is your video proof….

I love the fact that he just glossed over the Haiti part of 60 Minutes, and got right to the Samoa-NFL connection. I’m sorry….I pronounced that wrong. The Simwowa-NFL connection.
