“Sometimes it’s more important, on the name across the front of the chest, as opposed to the name on the back…”

Fox Sports Ohio play-by-play man Fred McLeod wanted to stick it to LeBron when calling out the final seconds of the Cleveland Cavs season opening win over the Boston Celtics, but struggled with it as much as LeBron’s Heat did with the Celtics the night before.

To be fair, it was an exciting moment and what he thought was the Cavs dribbling out the clock turned out to be a foul call, distracting him and further delaying what would ultimately be a big win for the new-look Cavs. Still, instead of possibly one of the most appreciated calls in Cavs history (until they win a ‘ship), he turned it into another blunder for Cleveland. I give the attempt an A-plus, but the execution is around a C-minus.

Herb Brooks?

“Again.”

Again.

That’s all gentlemen.
