During the semifinal match between Germany and Turkey there was a pretty awesome collision of heads during the first half. Both players were blooded but it was the Turkish player who needed the staple gun brought out….
I love how the ref just starts laughing for some reason. Soccer is full of drama queens but this shows what really can go down. The German player even had to leave the game for stitches. Good times!
I won’t ruin the end of the game if you’re taping, but lightning out ESPN’s feed, and is apparently was causing problems around the World. We missed about 20 minutes and the end of an amazing game. It doesn’t appear to be ESPN’s fault, but it was still crappy.
Didn’t I tell you not having your commentators there was a bad idea? They could have at least had the audio of the commentators to let us know what was going on. Oh well.
