Came across this late last night and I’m not sure what to think about this headlining photo that was up on ESPN yesterday. I’m sure there was no intent to make the photo as such but the photoshopping is sketchy at best.

Via LA Weekly comes a picture that ESPN.com put together for the BCS Championship Game. It appears to combine some of the local landmarks around The Big Easy which includes The Superdome, the Crescent City Connection (bridge), a Bourbon Street sign, and the Mississippi River. The problem is that it seems to have invoked thoughts of Katrina because the Superdome isn’t supposed to sit on water…..


I, like the LA Weekly, obviously don’t think this is/was intentional but I still can’t believe that things like this still slip by the editors at ESPN.com.
