On Monday, Vanderbilt faced off with Cal State Fullerton in the College World Series. The game actually started on Sunday, but had been suspended in the bottom of the sixth inning because of rain with Vanderbilt down 3-0.
Vanderbilt then staged a rally over the final three innings, culminating when Jeren Kendall of the Commodores hit a two-run, walk off homer in the bottom of the ninth to give Vandy the win.

But that TV call from Karl Ravech doesn’t really do Kendall’s homer much justice. Here’s how it sounded from the mouth of the voice of the Commodres, Joe Fisher.
College baseball…pretty, pretty awesome.
