Minnesota’s Joey King had an impressive statline in last night’s Big Ten tournament victory over Rutgers – 20 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals, and 1 BRUTAL REJECTION OF JIM JACKSON.
King was at the BTN table after the game and when the crew tried to congratulate him, Jackson extended a hand way across the table for a handshake. A totally oblivious King might as well have been giving the former Buckeye great the Mutombo finger wag. This is the best handshake-related sports broadcasting blooper since the infamous Bubba Watson missed handshake in Butler Cabin. For all we know, Jackson may still be looking for that handshake. Hopefully he gets it when the Gophers play the Buckeyes today.
