Pirates shortstop Jung Ho Kang had himself a spectacular game last Saturday, belting two home runs in a 3-2 victory over the Giants. The 28-year-old rookie is having an impressive season after playing the first nine years of his professional baseball career in Korea.

But with no disrespect intended toward the Fox Sports 1 broadcast team of Kenny Albert and Sean Casey, nor the Pirates’ play-by-play announcers Greg Brown and Tim Neverett, Kang’s two homers sounded that much better when called by the announcers on South Korean network SPOTV. Give this a listen:

The call of Kang’s first home run to center field off Mike Leake was pretty impressive. That is, until you listen to the play-by-play of his second long ball off Hunter Strickland. You can really hear the national pride blast out of your speakers on that one, not just as the ball soared over PNC Park’s left-field fence, but also as Kang rounded the bases.

That was awesome. Or as you would say in Korean (according to Google Translate), 최고.
