They say that everyone’s a reporter these days. What they say is true. See the Twitter feed of NFL on Fox analyst and recently retired New York Giants lineman David Diehl.
Diehl sent this tweet on Wednesday afternoon commenting on the injury to Blackhawks star Patrick Kane. That’s cool, he must be a hockey fan…. but wait a minute, what’s this about a fight in the locker room?!?!
First Kane out 12 weeks and now a divided team after fist fight in the #Blackhawks locker room. There are locker room codes you do not cross

The general response to this has been a collective, “where did this come from” as there’s been no reports of any fist fights breaking out from anybody who actually covers the team on a daily basis. And yet, here’s a television analyst for another sport who played in another city just casually tossing out what would be a huge breaking news story. Seems a little unbelievable. However, there was this tweet from Chicago radio host Dan Bernstein a couple days ago that leads one to believe Diehl may be on to something.
Per sources, #Blackhawks' locker room complicated by some untidy personal lives right now. Q's job: keep things from distracting/dividing.

Hopefully for Diehl’s sake his info is good and this doesn’t turn into another Rob Lowe-Peyton Manning situation.
