In case you thought SEC Network’s Yule Log replacement was ridiculous, just wait until you see what Longhorn Network is doing on Christmas Day – they’re going to be airing BEVO, and nothing but BEVO for five hours. I couldn’t make this up if I tried, folks.

On Thursday, Dec. 25, Longhorn Network, ESPN’s 24-hour television channel devoted to the University of Texas, invites viewers to spend the holiday with the most famous Texas longhorn, BEVO. The special,BEVO Home for the Holidays, will provide the first-ever BEVO cam. From 7 a.m. to noon CT fans can watch the longhorn roam his natural habitat with friends and also enjoy a festive holiday music playlist.

…dude. Five hours of an animal grazing in a field with holiday music playing over top of it. That’s amazing.

Things could get a little hairy if BEVO needs to relieve himself, though – you can’t cut away from a cow pie, can you?
