Former US Women’s National Team soccer star Julie Foudy will be sticking around with ESPN for the foreseeable future. This week, Foudy re-signed a multi-year deal with espnW that will keep her as one of the main faces of the ESPN offshoot outlet. Foudy made an impact on the national stage during last month’s College Football Playoff Championship Megacast, when she shined as part of the ESPN Voices telecast along with and Aaron Boone and Jay Bilas, among others.

During the summer, Foudy will lead ESPN’s coverage of the Women’s World Cup, taking place in Canada. She’ll make appearances on SportsCenter in addition to her prominent role on espnW.

It’s been a pretty good week for Foudy. In addition to the new contract, she was also awarded the coveted Golden Blazer Award by the Men in Blazers during a live show on Thursday. Last year’s winner was Bob Ley.

espnW faces have been popping up on more ESPN platforms over the last few months, and that can only be considered a good thing. In addition to Foudy’s growing stardom, Sarah Spain landed a national ESPN Radio show, Kate Fagan has been showing up more and more on Around the Horn, and Jane McManus has become a regular voice on SportsCenter. The espnW brand is growing, getting stronger, and won’t be going away any time soon.
