One of the interesting subplots to the ongoing drama in Chicago pitting Tom Thibodeau versus Bulls management has been the role of ESPN analyst Jeff Van Gundy. JVG has been incredbily suppportive of good friend Thibodeau throughout the year, to the point in which he said he would “tone down” his criticism of the front office for their handling of the coach.
But with the Bulls firing Thibs, Van Gundy felt free to let it rip this week:
