Here’s a sign that you’re getting old.  Really old.  ESPNU celebrates their 10th anniversary today.  The Bristol network focused on college sports launched on March 4th 2005 from Stillwater Oklahoma for a College GameDay special hosted by Dream Job winner (and current BTN anchor) Mike Hall.

ESPNU will be airing a special SportsCenterU reunion show at 6 PM ET with Hall making his return to the network for one night only and joining past and present anchors Lowell Galindo, Dari Nowkhah, and Matt Schick.  Interestingly enough, ESPN’s college sports empire has now expanded well beyond ESPNU as Galindo and Nowkhah are central figures on the Longhorn and SEC Networks respectively.  College sports has never been more popular across America and ESPN’s investment has definitely been a major part of that growth.

Below a couple of videos ESPN released looking back at the very beginning of ESPNU and the high points of the network’s first ten years.  The highlight: Young Jay Bilas!
