Another day, another life changing event discovered via Twitter.
This time, the life changing event was the Sacramento Kings’ firing of Mike Malone, and DeMarcus Cousins finding out via Twitter.
The news first broke via Adrian Wojnarowski:
Sacramento has fired coach Mike Malone, league sources told Yahoo Sports.

And then accounts rolled in on the team’s reaction:
Cousins found out on Twitter. Asked about players' reaction, "I think this is the perfect weather for this situation." It's gray & rainy.

Cousins said the firing was "unexpected" and "emotional" for the team because so many of them believed in Malone.

It’s really unbelievable that a team would think it’s a good idea to not inform its players of a major coaching change before it breaks on Twitter.
Why does the media get to know before the players? They may have believed in Malone, but now the question is, how do they feel about the organization?
