Brian Mitchell’s amazing rant about the Washington Redskins was one thing. This waving of the white flag by DC Fox 5 anchor Tony Perkins is another.
The Washington Redskins are the worst team in football. Period. They don't deserve the undying loyalty that we the fans give them.

We Redskins fans should stop buying tickets, stop buying the merchandise, etc. What do we get for it? Heartache, drama, sub-par play.

And before you start to argue with me, please know that I have been a loyal Redskins fan for 40 years. I am NOT a fairweather fan.

Since beating the Cowboys to win the division at the end of 2012, the Redskins have gone 6 and 20. It'll be 6 and 21 after today.

Those of you who continue to support the Redskins problem-plagued organization, I sincerely wish you the best. I've loved them. But I'm OUT.

This has nothing to do with “the name thing” anymore. The Redskins are a mess of a franchise, a rudderless ship floating in the Chesapeake Bay without a goal in sight. When local media people are freaking out and jumping ship because of how awful the team is, you know you’ve got a serious problem.
