Our series following the various scraps of ESPN college basketball analyst Dan Dakich continues!  Over the weekend, Dakich was firm in his conviction that the correct call was made on this play when a technical foul was issued to Jaylon Tate of the Illini.  Illinois fans were not in agreement, and that even included the mayor of Champaign, Illinois – Don Gerard.  We know he’s the mayor because his Twitter name is “Mayor Don Gerard.”

Dakich has now gotten into scraps with radio hosts, coaches, and mayors. Next up on the achievement list should be Bill Simmons.
