If you’re planning on attending the Kentucky Derby on May 2, leave your selfie stick at home. Churchill Downs has announced that it is banning selfie sticks and drones (!!), in addition to re-entry.

The no re-entry policy is intended to prevent counterfeit tickets from being sold. The selfie-sticks, though? That ban is probably to prevent patrons from getting whacked in the head with one during someone else’s selfie attempt. Of course, the downfall to this is that we won’t be able to enjoy tweets such as this one:

I guess that means you’ll just have to take your selfies the old fashioned way, or (gasp) ask someone to take a picture FOR you. A weird concept, I realize.
